Distronic plus

To make driving easier, in 1999 Mercedes developed the Distronic (Distance Variable Cruise Control) system integrated with ACC. Comfort Distronic Plus, the most advanced version of Distronic, automatically maintains a distance to the vehicle in front, even in heavy traffic when you are forced to move forward at a walking pace with continuous braking.

Thanks to improved sensors, Distronic Plus adjusts the distance from 0 to 200 km / h and gently brakes the vehicle (up to 4 m / s2) when the set distance is reduced, if necessary, to a complete stop. To restart, simply press the cruise control lever or lightly press the accelerator pedal.
