What is a combustible gas detector used for?

The gas leak detector is used to alert the user to a suspected gas leak or high gas level.
These gas detectors can be used to detect most combustible gases, all those used in plumbing, heating and similar applications. These include methane, propane, butane, ethanol, ammonia and hydrogen.
What is a combustible gas detector used for?The gas detector can be used when a gas leak is suspected or to check the tightness and completeness of a new installation. Combustible gas detectors are not intended for continuous monitoring of gas leaks: they are used only when necessary or for periodic checks.
They can be used in professional and home environments.
Although no professional training is required to use a gas analyzer, anyone who works with gas appliances at home or elsewhere must be listed on the Gas Safety Register. Legislation requires all persons practicing the use of gas to carry an identification card from the Gas Safety Register.
