Available as a coupe or convertible, the TT could be equipped with a 1.8-liter turbocharged engine or the venerable VR6 engine. The base cars were front-wheel drive, with the hottest version having the Audi Quattro all-wheel drive system. The TT has never been as cool to drive as the Porsche Boxster it was supposed to be competing with, but it offers distinctive looks, all-wheel drive and plenty of smiles a mile.

MINI Cooper S

MINI as we know it today is part of the BMW Group and gets most of its development from the parent company. These little pocket rockets handle like a go-kart and have all the retro charm you'd expect with a healthy dose of BMW comfort.

BMW 3-series

The BMW 3-Series has been the benchmark for all sports sedans for almost 40 years. He defined the genre and gave the world a blueprint for what a sports sedan should be. You can get the 3-Series as a coupe, sedan or convertible with a wide choice of engines, transmissions, and rear or all-wheel drive.

Among the sheer number of options, there are a few that stand out. E46 generation 330i ZhP and E90 generation 335i. Both are sports betting, have enough power to get you in trouble, and can be had for less than ten thousand dollars.

There is nothing wrong with that, and in fact the Crossfire remains a vastly underrated vehicle to this day. The base and limited versions of the car had a 3.2-liter V6 with 215 horsepower, but it was the SRT-6 variant that got the power. It was equipped with a 3.2-liter supercharged V6 with 330 horsepower and could accelerate to 0 km/h in five seconds.

Audi S5

The Audi S5 is much more than just a two-door version of the S4. Sleek coupe design with sleek lines and muscular proportions is paired with a superb 4.2-litre V8 engine under the hood. You have a 350-horsepower, quattro all-wheel drive and a six-speed manual transmission.

The interior is one of the nicest in the business, and this car can do just about anything. Mazda RX-7

If you love cool old-school Japanese sports cars, then the RX-7 should definitely be at the top of the list. First introduced in 1978, the RX-7 was powered by the now famous Wankel 13B twin-rotor engine. Without pistons, the engine was light, powerful, and could be driven to the moon. Variants of this engine will be used in Mazda's Le Mans winning car and will be produced until 2002.

Sharp handling is a defining feature of the RX-7, and these cars make great canyon-climbing and racing cars. Rotary engine maintenance can best be described as "frequent", but few cars can deliver as much fun, sound, and enjoyment as the RX-7.

MG Midget

The MG Midget is a classic sports car for everyone and was the inspiration for the Mazda Miata. Originally designed as a basic low cost sports car, the diminutive Midget represents the definition of what a British sports car was and is perfect for those who want to get into the classic sports car game without spending huge sums of money.

Datsun 240Z

In 1970, Nissan/Datsun launched a sleek two-door coupe to compete head-to-head with established European sports car manufacturers. They strategically priced it on par with the MGB GT in hopes of attracting buyers. Model 151Z, equipped with a 240 hp inline six-cylinder engine.
