Amazon delivery drones

Amazon showed off a more detailed concept for a drone order delivery system. In a video produced by the company, we see Prime Air drones deliver orders from a warehouse to a customer's door within thirty minutes of placing an order.

The Prime Air machines themselves look a little different than the drones we're used to. It can be compared to the module of some cart with goods. Their curb weight is over 25 kg and they can carry loads up to 2,5 kg. They must fly at an altitude of up to 140 meters. Their range is a maximum of 16 kilometers.

To meet stringent safety requirements, unmanned transporters must be equipped with a network of sensors to avoid obstacles and find safe landing spots.
