Another test: Citroen C4 Cactus Shine Blue HDI BVM and Shine PureTech 110 S&S BVM

She: No, this is not an orchid, but a cactus, a male plant that I can afford to water, and I am not married to shaking (not yet), and which will also grow well in my hands, although I do not. I have a green finger (constant fact).

He: No, you don't actually need to let the sheikh for this car, Tina, 18.900 € 20.200 will be enough for a Cactus with a gasoline engine and 20 1,6 € for a car with a diesel engine, and they are as richly equipped as the two test cars. Since the difference between them is a good thousand and because they are quite equal in power, in fact, this is more a matter of personal taste, although the mathematical calculation quickly shows that for everyone who drives this car more than 70 thousand kilometers A diesel Cactus is more suitable for a year powered by the proven 100-liter HDI engine with an output of XNUMX kilowatts or XNUMX "horsepower".

She: I remember my first meeting with Cactus - it was last spring when he first challenged me from a billboard. I said to myself: soft, strange and disgustingly yellow, but I still had to kick me into the green with a long horn from the red light. As a guy in a yellow suit with plastic fashion accessories, Cactus stayed in my head, I remembered his name well, but I didn't want him on a date (read: voluntary test drive) until the date caught up with me on duty. The guys said that he did not sit well in it. If anything, that's only because Cactus wasn't made for grandparents like car dealers, who, jokingly, I could also put together a basketball team that sometimes fights in the ring in the heavyweight division. So, for illustration. And one more correction: in Cactus, at least I sit at home in an armchair.

He: As a big fan of off-road vehicles, he immediately caught my attention and I must admit that I like his somewhat unusual movements. I also quickly got used to the side "bumps" on the door, and I like them. But most of all, I was outraged by this special version of the Cactus prototype, created as a model for off-road adventure travel. Interior? Yes, interesting, design, but as it turned out on the test: digital sensors in the sun are not the most transparent. Instead of sports seats, it boasts the comforts of a home sofa in the living room.

She: I have two keys in my hands: one for purple diesel fuel and one for a turquoise gas station. Both are mine! But, hey, yeah! Namely, the Cactus is the car that goes best with the current color of the miniskirt (but not with long pants, because the Cactus is inherently playful and flirtatious). In any case, I want to note the countless combinations of bodywork and plastic on the hips and bumpers that will merrily paint our roads. What's more: the Cactus suit is not only revolutionary functionality, but also revolutionary fun - the second French Revolution after the victory of the Jacobins is called Airbump® and plays the role of a bodyguard that every woman dreams of. All without exception, believe me, and yours too.

He: Well, I wouldn't talk too much about the color, but turquoise is the shade that got the most attention anyway. It just fits in such a crazy car. Great for all color combinations. When I look at colors online, I personally find yellow or gray to be the best. It has nothing to do with 50 shades of grey, although the air bumps on the door are actually a different shade of grey.

She: The fact that the Frenchman is peppy and keeps on the road like a dog made of his own bone, I was able to verify in a rather unique way. Sasha Kapetanovich and I drove in both cars to take pictures against the backdrop of the biggest graffiti in the city, that is, from the editorial office in the city center right in Fuzhin. Since car dealerships are mostly former rally drivers, and Sasha is no exception (this does not mean that they run around the city three hundred per hour, only their driving is more dynamic, and reflexes are most similar to those of my cat when he reaches the birds ) is not easy to manage. Well, even with the Cactus it turned out - a little because of the excellent visibility in the car, a little because of his sports soul). But I was able to fuck Sasha in the ass so much that we came to the finish line for a miracle at the same time. And if, in the end, I am quite satisfied with the desert flower, I will answer the boss's very specific question, what is the difference between a gas station and a diesel, I will say correctly: I enjoyed driving so much that I was not attentive. Is there a difference?! But I wasn't wrong about the filling...

He: Well, we can't talk about sporty acceleration, but since it's light, weighs 965 kilograms, 110 petrol and 100 diesel "horses" are enough for a pretty decent ride for the needs of a modern family. Even the road position is closer to comfort than sportiness, so traveling in the Cactus is more enjoyable than taking the shortest way around corners. This inadvertently reminds me of all the drivers of the legendary Spachek and Diyan, these drivers knew how to enjoy the road, and I have a feeling that the Cactus carries a part of that spirit. I love it very much, it breaks down clichés and brings some nostalgia to cars, with a lot of modern approaches that may even be a little ahead of their time. Loyal Citroen fans have been given a new icon, or so it seems.

If I had to choose between the two, I would definitely be looking not at color, but at consumption. If the gas station is still competing with diesel in some way when I think about performance, it burns out when I open my wallet at the gas station. The gasoline Cactus drank 6,9 liters in the test, and the diesel only 5,6 liters.

CHILDREN'S ASSESSMENT

First impression: Suitcase on wheels of such bright colors that I will immediately see it on the luggage strap!

Price: Didn't expect it to be cheap, but ... Do you get at least a coffee maker, a massage voucher and a French course in Paris?

Fuel consumption: The flower of the desert drinks little and can easily leave the nearest gas station.

Rear seats: Who will be basal in the rear seats if they sit in the front seats too?

Special pros: kid-friendly parking - Park Assist is a chic assistant and a camera so modern it can shoot a feature film, romantic front sofa perfect for long conversations under the starry sky under my block that romantic car) the illusion of driving an SUV; low fuel consumption, friendly to my wallet and sometimes his card; the feeling of security that a woman looks for in a man and in a car - a large number of air capsules under a soft film of thermoplastic polyurethane that softens any blows; an athletic heart or an engine strong enough not to sue me for a thoroughbred athletic stallion.

Serious flaw: I really can't hide it - if the boss saw me drive past the office in the middle of the morning when I was supposed to write this article, he definitely saw me.

TYPE ESTIMATES

First impression: Lucky car, I like the one with a manual transmission, much more than with an automatic (robotic) transmission. I like diesel more than gasoline engine, partly because of the better torque and mainly because of the lower fuel consumption. The thirst for the gas station is surprisingly mild, though. Probably, at first glance, he acquires both friends and enemies, because he is so different that not everyone will like him. This is definitely a car for people who want something special.

Price: Yes, it's not exactly cheap, but I understand this because it is new to the market.

Fuel consumption: Moderate consumption, diesel is definitely an advantage if gasoline is more expensive than gold.

Rear seats: soft and comfortable, the materials also feel durable, and even when the army of puppies distorts something, they clean well.

Special Pros: Definitely the look – something special, a bit adventurous, for the perfect look I would put even bigger bikes on it, preferably off-road mudguards. [laughs]

Serious disadvantage: the back bench is not divisible.
