Disadvantages, breakdowns and problems of BDX

The most famous problem with such engines is the formation of scuffing in the cylinders.

The cause of scuffing is most often a faulty pouring nozzle.

In second place here is the stretching of the timing chains and the failure of their tensioners

Phase regulators and ignition coils have a relatively modest resource.

Many owners have experienced oil burner or soot on intake valves.
