Dodge ECB engine
Content
The 2.0-liter Dodge ECB or A588 engine was assembled at the Trenton plant from 1994 to 2005 and installed on such well-known models of the American concern as Breeze, Neon, Stratus. Versions of this unit before 2001 and after have many differences and are not interchangeable.
The Neon series also includes internal combustion engines: EBD, ECC, ECH, EDT, EDZ and EDV.

Disadvantages, breakdowns and problems of the internal combustion engine ECB
The most common internal combustion engine failure is overheating with gasket breakdown and cylinder head warping.
This is due to coolant leaks from cracked pipes or a thermostat
Do not forget to replace the timing belt every 100 km or the valve will bend if it breaks
Also, engine mounts, camshaft and crankshaft oil seals quickly wear out here.
After 200 km of run on these units, oil consumption is common
