GM LFA engine
Content
The 6.0-liter V8 engine GM LFA or Vortec 6000 Hybrid was assembled by the concern from 2007 to 2013 and put on hybrid versions of such models as the Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. A year after the start of production, the internal combustion engine received a phase regulator, an AFM system and a new LZ1 index.
The Vortec IV line also includes internal combustion engines: LY2, LY5 and L92.

Disadvantages, breakdowns and problems of the LFA internal combustion engine
Since many of the problems here are from overheating, monitor the condition of the radiator and pump
ICE speed often floats due to throttle contamination or fuel pump failure
The reason for the tripling of this unit is usually in the cracking of one of the ignition coils.
It is better not to save on oil, this is fraught with rapid wear of the camshaft liners
The thermal casing often falls off and the exhaust manifold bolts are unscrewed
