The 1.8-liter Hyundai G4JN engine was assembled from 1998 to 2005 in South Korea under license, because structurally it was a complete copy of the Mitsubishi power unit with the 4G67 index. This Sirius II series DOHC motor was installed for some time on local versions of the Sonata and Magentis.
