The 1.6-liter 16-valve Hyundai G4LE engine has been produced in South Korea since 2016 and is installed on hybrid versions of such popular models as Ioniq, Niro and Kona. There are two versions: Hybrid with 1.56 KWh battery and Plug-in Hybrid with 8.9 or 12.9 KWh battery.
