Nissan SR20VE engine

The Nissan SR20VE engine was based on the SR20. In fact, it is a sports atmospheric version of this motor. First launched in 1997. The first modification had 190 horsepower at 7000 rpm.

The SR20VE differs from the SR20DE more in a compression ratio of 11. Also in the sports version, the NEO VVL valve lift change system and the variable valve timing system are used. The second modification of the motor was developed specifically for the Nissan Primera.

Motor reliability

The reliability of the SR20VE is beyond doubt. Durability has been tested over the years, and no significant shortcomings have been identified over a long period of operation.
