Agricultural tractors are machines that are popular in our country and around the world. Of course, they were also produced in the USSR. Vladimirets T 25 is a device that works well in almost any conditions. The gearbox deserves special attention. Initially, it was this element that underwent a thorough reconstruction. The original two shift levers were merged into one, making the Vladimirets a much more capable agricultural machine. In our article, we will focus on the key element, i.e. the T25 engine. T25 engine - what did this design look like?

The design of the new type Vladimiretsky T-25 was based on the standard DT-20 model. At the same time, a tractor with a T25 engine had a volume of up to 2077 cm³. With factory engine power up to 31 hp. and 120 Nm Wladimirec turned out to be a really solid tractor. Over the years, the design of the Vladimirets tractor itself and the engine have been constantly modernized. As for the unit itself, modifications were made that were:

• change gear lever;
• changing the gear ratios of the gearbox;
• improvement of the generator and electrical installation;
• development of a new type of lift with automatic adjustment.

All the changes that the T25 engine underwent took place from 1966 to 1990. After that, a tractor with a T-30 engine was introduced to the market, which was equipped with glow plugs right in the head.

An agricultural tractor with a T25 engine was brought to Poland by rail. Purchase prices were quite high, and the availability of machines for Poland was relatively low. Ursus agricultural tractors were an interesting alternative. Their technical data did not differ from the Vladimiretsky T-25. Versions of Soviet cars that were exported to Poland were primarily equipped with a completely different fuel system and special headlights.

A two-section hydraulic distributor made it possible to lift a trailed machine weighing up to 600 kg. Also remember that Vladimirets T-25 tractors were not originally equipped with pneumatic systems. They were developed and created in our country.

Popular to this day, air-cooled Vladimirets tractors equipped with a T25 engine are equipped with an 8/6 gearbox and two additional gears (reducing). Thanks to this, a car with this engine moves at speeds up to 27 km / h. Fuel consumption during the operation of the T25 engine is measured in hours (approximately 2 l / month).
