Shortcomings, breakdowns and problems of JK
This diesel engine has a sedate character, is noisy and does not like frost.
Due to overheating, the cylinder head quickly cracks, but small cracks do not affect the ride
The high pressure fuel pump often leaks over the gaskets, keep an eye on it
The timing belt resource according to the regulations is 60 km, and when the valve breaks, it bends
At high mileage, such power units are prone to oil burns and lubrication leaks.
