The Japanese company has been producing the Mazda CX-3 subcompact crossover since 2015. The car was created on the basis of the subcompact Mazda 2 - a small hatchback. Thanks to Skyaktiv technology, which does not use a turbocharged engine, but with a large volume and high compression ratio, fuel consumption is only 6,5 liters per 100 km.

The non-turbo engine has very good torque for a pleasant ride. On front-wheel drive cars, this four develops 120 hp, on all-wheel drive cars - 150 hp. also automatic or manual. In addition to the petrol engine, a diesel unit is also available, however, without all-wheel drive. The diesel unit with a volume of 1,5 liters became the base for the European market. This is a new engine that debuted on the Mazda 2. Its power is 105 hp. and 250 N/m of torque. In the basic version, it is aggregated with a 6-speed manual.

The CX-3, like other current models from Mazda, was created in accordance with the concept of Kodo, which means the soul of movement. But the small Mazda CX-3 looks even more serious than the older CX-5. The cartoonishness is much less pronounced here. Perhaps because of the narrower predatory optics.
