Nissan Wingroad is a vehicle for freight and passenger transportation. Gathered mainly for the Japanese market. Popular in Japan and Russia (in the Far East). The left-hand drive configuration is shipped to South America.
In Peru, a significant part of the taxi is Winroad in 11 bodies. The car has been produced from 1996 to the present. During this time, 3 generations of cars came out. The first generation (1996) shared a body with the Nissan Sunny California. The second generation (1999-2005) was produced with a body similar to the Nissan AD. The differences were only in the configuration of the cabin. Representatives of the third generation (2005-present): Nissan Note, Tiida, Bluebird Sylphy.
What engines were installed
Wingroad 1 generation - these are 14 modifications. Automatic and manual transmissions were installed on the car. Front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions were assembled. A diesel engine was used as a power unit.

The second generation Wingroad offers even more choice in terms of powertrains. When assembling, mainly gasoline versions of the internal combustion engine were used. The diesel unit was installed on Nissan AD in the back of Y11. All-wheel drive is available only in tandem with the 1,8-liter engine. Types of installed checkpoints:

The third generation (since 2005) of engines is installed on the updated Nissan AD in the Y12 body. The minivan is equipped with an engine capacity of 1,5 to 1,8 liters. Only petrol versions are produced. Most of the cars are equipped with a CVT. The Y12 body is front-wheel drive, the NY-12 body is all-wheel drive (Nissan E-4WD).

The most popular power units
In the first generation, the GA15DE engine (1,5 l, 105 hp) is popular. Installed, including on all-wheel drive versions. Less popular was the SR18DE (1,8 l, 125 hp). In the second generation, the most requested engine was the QG15DE and QG18DE. In turn, the HR15DE engine is most often installed on third-generation Nissan cars. In any case, the consumer is captivated by the relatively low fuel consumption, a large selection of spare parts, ease of repair and low cost.
The most reliable powertrains
The reliability of the Nissan Wingroad engines as a whole has never been satisfactory. Problems are typical and are mainly related to the lack of care and proper supervision with the unit. Particularly stands out among others QG15DE (1,5 liter petrol 105 hp), which is able to make a race of 100-150 thousand km without a single breakdown. And this is provided that the engine is produced in 2002.
Popularity
Currently, the MR18DE (1,8 l, 128 hp) is popular among the new engines, which is installed, for example, on the 18RX Aero model. The 1,8-liter engine is quite high-torque, unlike the 1,5-liter counterpart. The unit moves the station wagon with confidence.
From previous generations of engines, brands previously produced for the Japanese market are popular. An example is the 2-liter QR20DE engine, which was installed on cars from 2001 to 2005. Cars of these years are in acceptable condition, both technically and externally. The main advantage is the low cost for which the buyer purchases a car in working condition.
Such a vehicle has a voluminous trunk, bright appearance, feels confident on the road. For 200-250 thousand rubles, for example, a young man can get his hands on a well-assembled vehicle. Moreover, in the car there are traditionally no squeaks, crickets, plastic in the cabin is not loose. Oils
Engine oil should have a viscosity of 5W-30. As for the manufacturer, the choice of users is ambiguous. Some brands that consumers prefer are Bizovo, Idemitsu Zepro, Petro-Canada. Along the way, when changing the fluid, you need to change the air and oil filters. Oil change is carried out taking into account several factors: year of manufacture, season of the year, type (semi-synthetic, mineral water), recommended manufacturers. Features
When buying a Wingroad, it is worth considering some features of the car. Of the pluses, it is worth highlighting fairly bright headlights, the presence of a braking assistant and an ABS system. The basic kit usually has heated wipers. The stove works confidently, the heat generated is sufficient. The car confidently keeps on the road. The trunk is large, holds everything you need.
