E Diff

Electronic differential for traction distribution. E-Diff is integrated into the gearbox and fitted to the Ferrari. Used for many years in Formula 1, the device was integrated with the F1-Trac stability control system (skid corrector). The intelligent distribution of torque to the wheels is carried out by hydraulically actuating the clutch plate pack and the corresponding opposing discs.

This is driven by driving conditions, modulating the influence of the differential and providing benefits in terms of performance, directional stability, active safety and driving pleasure.
