e-Zesty: the ultra-high-end electric mountain bike for Lapierre

The Lapierre e-Zesty full suspension electric mountain bike was unveiled at Eurobike 2018. The launch is expected at the end of the year!

Lapierre complements the already rich range of electric vehicles with the new e-Zesty. Showcased at Eurobike, this high-end electric mountain bike is part of the redesign of the Zesty and Spicy families.

On the electrical side, the Lapierre e-Zesty is based on the Fazua engine. The Fazua motor, more integrated into road bikes, allows the manufacturer to limit the weight of the electrical system, whose battery, elegantly integrated into the frame, is limited to 250 Wh. Fully suspended and mounted on 27.5-inch wheels, the e-Zesty has 150mm of travel at the rear and 160mm at the front. It is mounted on a carbon frame and should weigh about fifteen kilograms.
