ECB / ECB-R - Electronic Brake Control

It consists of an electronic brake management system developed by Lexus. It constantly interacts with various systems: the latest generation ABS, traction control (TRC), stability control (VSC) and emergency braking.

The ECB-R system is instead found on the latest Lexus hybrids, an evolution of the ECB, and is better known as electronically controlled regenerative braking. In addition to the previous one, it can also improve the efficiency of the vehicle by maximizing energy recovery through the electric motor during the deceleration and braking phases.
