ECT - Electronically Controlled Transmission

This is a logical automatic transmission control that can sometimes be manually selected as an alternative to normal operation. It reads the driver's driving system and adjusts the logic for shifting from one gear to another, locking the torque converter when convenient for comfortable, high performance and economical driving.

This is a system that is often integrated with traction control.
