EICMA 2018: Kymco unveils SuperNEX electric motorcycle

Unexpected premiere of Kymco. Contrary to earlier announcements for a new line of electric scooters, the Taiwanese manufacturer has unveiled the Kymco SuperNEX electric racing motorcycle. Interestingly, it is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox to "keep the driving experience" on a real motorcycle.

Kymco included an Active Acoustic Motor in the SuperNEX so as not to deprive the driver of engine speed feedback. We also took care of another experience from the world of combustion: the six-speed gearbox allows you to shift gears, because, according to Kymco, shifting is the most fun. The motorcycle uses a friction clutch (anti-slip), which avoids the nervous reactions of the motorcycle during fast contractions.

Other Technical characteristics of Kymco SuperNEX other than overclocking are not known.. It is not known what range or price it will have - the motorcycle presented at the fair is just a prototype, but it looks like a serious product, ready for production.
