Pirelli has introduced a complete range of environmentally friendly tires for all types of passenger cars.   Eco tires

The offer, launched on the Polish market, includes the entire family of Pirelli Cinturato P4 (for passenger cars), P6 (for medium-sized cars) and the latest P7 (for medium and high-class cars) tires.

Cinturato ecological tires must not only provide high safety, but also be environmentally friendly. The continuous work to improve the technology, which is primarily aimed at reducing rolling resistance and tire noise, is largely driven by the requirements that are placed on modern cars.

- In fact, it is automakers who are constantly striving to preserve their cars as much as possible, mobilizing tire companies to produce tires with lower rolling resistance, which has a positive effect on car engine fuel consumption and reduced exhaust toxicity. gases. They also care about the safety of cars, so stopping distance is a very important factor when choosing tires,” said Marcin Viteska from Pirelli Polska.

The development of greener tires has also been aided by the fact that new EU regulations have been introduced since 2012, limiting both rolling resistance, new tire noise and precise limits on braking distances.

After the new rules come into force, each tire will be provided with a sticker with information about the rolling resistance class and the braking distance class on dry and wet surfaces.

The aim of the new rules is to primarily limit the influx of low-quality tires from Asia, which can have up to 20m longer wet braking distances than their European counterparts, including environmentally friendly tyres.

The modern materials used in the production of tires of the Cinturato series contribute primarily to reducing harmful emissions into the atmosphere, reducing noise levels and more economical operation. In addition to reducing rolling resistance, these tires also provide shorter braking distances than conventional tires.

In addition, the P7 model is made from materials that are free of aromatic oils, resulting in a 4% reduction in tire wear. during its use and noise reduction by 30%.

A testament to the fact that new generation tires are becoming more and more popular is the fact that Pirelli has, among other things, 30 approvals for their factory assembly. in the new Audi, Mercedes E-Class and BMW 5 Series.

Shameful liars! Tires synthesized from petroleum products are not ecological! Carve it into your brain!
