operating experience vaz 2112After another classic model of the VAZ 2105 car, I decided to buy a more expensive and prestigious domestic car of the tenth VAZ 21124 family with an engine capacity of 1,6 liters and a power of 92 hp, thanks to its sixteen-valve engine head.

But there was no desire or money to buy a new car, so the choice fell on a car with a range of 100 km in 000. Since before the purchase, the car was operated in Moscow, one could only dream of the integrity of the body, it was pretty battered by corrosion, especially the sills and lower edges of the doors and fenders. And also corrosion has reached the roof of the car, especially near the windshield of the two.

The engine was already tired, so one can only guess about the real mileage of the car, the engine constantly troilus, sneezed, the car jerked as if the driver who sat behind the wheel of the car for the first time was driving. I changed everything I could: a set of spark plugs, high voltage wires, an ignition coil and much more, until the car began to work steadily both at idle and at high speeds.

The undercarriage immediately had to be revised, changing all 4 bearings of the front and rear wheel hubs, they howled like wolves at the moon. The knocks in the front end were corrected by replacing all the ball joints, but replacing the struts was worth a good investment. But, since I was going to drive a car for several more years, I decided to replace it and do everything to my conscience. The biggest problem with the undercarriage was a bursting front beam, fortunately, they immediately brought it to me and replaced it literally in half an hour.

Of the serious problems with my 2112, the failure of the stove radiator can be noted, and it happened as always, according to the law of meanness, in the winter. And with a broken interior heating system, on our twelfth you won't go far, you can freeze behind the wheel. Therefore, the replacement was instant, and the repair was not cheap. On the other hand, there were no problems with the heater after the repair, it was even hot in the cabin.

After I repaired my new car, I have already covered 60 km, and have not experienced any problems yet, only consumables in the form of oil and filters. Of course, in addition to all this, I changed the seat covers, since they were frayed into the trash, the covers for the steering wheel and the gearshift knob also changed, and the interior has already become a little more comfortable.

After the repair, the car was completely fine with me, if everything were so without investments, then the prices for domestic cars simply would not exist.
