Electric Vélib ': official prices and tariffs

This Thursday, the mixed union Vélib 'Métropole' has approved the prices and tariffs for the electric Vélib, which are scheduled to be rolled out on 1 January 2018 in Paris and in the 68 municipalities of Ile-de-France.

While electricity will account for 30% of the new self-service fleet in the Ile-de-France region, the prices for the new service, now operated by Smovengo, have been significantly revised upward. While the annual subscription price for a mechanical bike rises by over 30%, from € 29 to € 37.2, the new Vélib electric bikes will be offered on an annual V-Max formula at € 99.60 or € 8.30 per year. month. For more casual use, the new V-Libre package grants access to a mechanical bike for € 1 for half an hour and an electric bike for € 5. Sold for € 1.70 and replacing the previously offered € 30 day pass, V-Découverte allows trips of less than XNUMX minutes per day.

While these new rates will be in effect from January 1st, new bikes will arrive more gradually. By the end of the first quarter of 2018, more than 24 new bicycles will be serviced at 000 stations in Paris and the suburbs.
