Niu electric motorcycle in preparation?

Chinese concern Niu, one of the main manufacturers of electric scooters, may soon expand its activities in the field of electric mobility.

Released by Electrek, the information is based on an image posted by one of its readers showing an electric motorcycle covered in strange camouflage. If nothing suggests that this is a Niu prototype, several elements insert the chip into the ear. The location where these pictures were taken is already there: in Changzhou, a Chinese city where the manufacturer opened its production site. The route the vehicle took is also regularly used by the manufacturer's technical teams to test the brand's future vehicles, Electrek said.

The second clue comes not from the vehicle itself, but from its driver, whose jeans echo the company's slogan in China: "NIU POWER IS FROM THE HEART."

Technically, we obviously don't know much about this car. However, we notice the lack of a wheel motor. Instead, a deported block that should provide more torque for the car.

Electrek said it has contacted brand officials to find out more. While everyone declined to comment on the information, Niu's electric motorcycle idea comes as no surprise.
