Electric motorcycle: Voge ER 10 at the European premiere at EICMA

At EICMA, Chinese manufacturer VOGE is expanding its range of electric motorcycles with the new ER 10.

Announced at the end of September, the new Voge electric motorcycle will be unveiled in Europe at EICMA. Based on technology developed by Chinese specialist Sur Ron, the Voge ER 10 is marketed as a small urban sports car.

It is capable of a top speed of 100 km / h and is equipped with a 6 kW electric motor capable of delivering a peak power of up to 14 kW (18,8 hp). Not quite enough to compete with Zero Motorcycles' electric bikes, but pretty much enough for the city.

The 60V, 70Ah lithium-ion battery powering the Voge ER 10 has a capacity of 4,2 kWh. The manufacturer estimates its range of about 100 kilometers without recharging.

In Europe, the new Voge electric motorcycle is expected to be offered for less than 5000 euros. The launch date has not yet been announced.

Up to 3 kW for Voge ER 8

Note that this ER 10 is far from the only electric creation of the manufacturer, which also presents its small Voge ER 8 in Milan.

Less efficient, it is limited to 3 kW for a top speed of up to 80 km / h. As for the battery, the 72V-32.5 Ah lithium battery is limited to 2,34 kWh for a range of 80 to 120 km depending on conditions.
