The family of sleek black e-bikes with clean lines is growing. After the French Angell, Cowboy unveils his new electric bike. With a removable battery that fits perfectly into the frame, built-in LED headlights, and a strict custom saddle, the third generation of his electric bike is failing.
Slightly heavier than the previous version (16,9 kg versus 16,1 kg), it maintains the same performance thanks to a dedicated 30 Nm (250 W) motor built into the rear hub and a 360 Wh battery providing a range of up to 70 km.
The difference with his little brother? Universal tires covered with a puncture protection layer and a brand commitment: transmission is carried out via a carbon belt that does not require maintenance for up to 30.000 km. We can ride and keep our hands clean!
When technology makes our lives easier
Whoever says there will be a powered electric bike in 2020, the connected bike will say so. Cowboy 3 is no exception to the rule, with a very functional application. Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone and stop looking for your keys: the app will detect you as soon as you are nearby and unlock your bike. All you have to do is touch it to turn it on.
Like most of its competitors, Cowboy has included in its mobile app everything any rider needs: theft warning, vehicle location, optimized routes, accident detection. In the event of a collision, your bike will ask if everything is in order, and if not, it will notify your emergency contact. There are also cool gadgets like the dashboard, air quality information, repair shop geolocation, etc.
How much does it cost?
To offer you this piece of jewelry, you have to pay at least 2290 €. Consider an extra € 89 if you need mud flaps.
