Electric car, or the end of problems with the sauna in the cabin in hot weather [VIDEO]

In 2012, I recorded a video in which I showed what happens to a person locked in an internal combustion car in hot weather. The engine did not work, the air conditioner did not work, I lost at least 0,8 kilograms per hour. Electric cars solve this problem.

Table of contents

  • Internal combustion vehicle: the engine is not running, there is a sauna in the cabin.
    • Electric car = headache

The rules of the road state explicitly: the use of the engine - and therefore air conditioning - in a car with an internal combustion engine is not allowed when it is stationary. Here is a quote from chapter 5, article 60, paragraph 2:

2. The driver is prohibited:

  1. move away from the vehicle with the engine running,
  2. ...
  3. leave the engine running while parked in the village; this does not apply to vehicles taking action on the road.

As a result, the interior of the cabin turns into a sauna in the heat, people and animals trapped inside suffer from this. Even an adult man finds it difficult to survive in such a temperature:

Electric car = headache

Electric vehicles solve this problem. In a stationary state, you can turn on the air conditioner, which will cool the cab interior. The air conditioner runs directly from the car's battery. What’s more: in many electric vehicles, the air conditioning can be started remotely from the smartphone app level – so we don’t have to go back to the car if we forget about it.

> WARSAW. Electrician parking fine - how to appeal?

It is worth remembering: Traffic regulations prohibit starting the engine (= air conditioning) when parked with an internal combustion vehicle. This prohibition does not apply to electric vehicles.since the air conditioner does not need to start the engine to operate.
