Electric car. How long does it take to charge a car? This type of vehicle can be charged with a charging cable just like any other electrical device. However, the load is uneven when loading - this can be done in many ways.

Different vehicles have different solutions and not all will work with every type of charger or charging station.

The energy level in an electric car can be replenished by plugging it into a conventional electrical outlet, but this is a relatively inefficient solution - every hour of charging results in a journey of 10-15 km. This is enough to charge a small car overnight with batteries that guarantee a range of 100-200 km.

In many homes and garages, you can find a 16A outlet (standard red) that allows you to replenish the energy supply within an hour, enough to drive about 50 km. Even more powerful and slightly larger 32A sockets (present, including in hotels and charging stations) double this efficiency. The most powerful fast charging stations, with a capacity of 40 to 135 kW, allow you to replenish energy within an hour, sufficient to cover hundreds of kilometers.
