Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

If before you could only choose the color of the Tesla Model S electric car, now it's a different matter. Almost all car manufacturers today have electric vehicles in their assortment. But what new electric vehicles will hit the market in 2020?

Sports sedans, cheap city cars, big SUVs, trendy crossovers ... EVs are sold in almost every segment. In this article, we will discuss all electric vehicles coming out in 2020 or first hitting the market this year. You won't find old cars that have been on sale for years here. We always want this review to be as up-to-date as possible so that it doesn't hurt to click on this page again in a few months. This list is in the largest possible alphabetical order.

One note before we start this list. What we are discussing here is in part the music of the future. Nowadays, automakers can always plan differently for the release of electric vehicles, but in 2020 this chance is very high. In the end, the coronavirus has (had) a huge impact on the whole world. All production chains have collapsed, factories are closed for several days, and sometimes weeks. Therefore, it is possible that the car manufacturer decides to postpone the release of the car to the market. If we hear that, we will of course correct this message. But be prepared for the fact that in a month or two the car can easily appear at the dealer.

Iveis U5

Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

Of all the electric vehicles that will be released in 2020, Aiways U5 is the first in alphabetical order. And it's a pretty strange car to start with. The car is almost ready - it was supposed to hit the market in April - but there are a few important details that we still don't know. But let's start with what we know. This Chinese electric crossover should go on sale in August. Not for sale, because it can be done later. No, Aiways wants to start offering car leasing. How much is it? This is such an important detail that we don't know about yet.

Aiways has already announced that the U5 is a front-wheel drive crossover/SUV with a 63 kWh battery. We know the flight range only according to the NEDC standard, which is 503 kilometers. Let's assume the WLTP range will be lower. A single engine produces 197 hp. and 315 Nm. The car can charge quickly, with which technology it is not clear. However, Aiways must charge from 27% to 30% within 80 minutes.

Audi e-tron Sportback

Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

We know a lot more about the Audi e-tron. No, this really isn't a new car. But this year it will receive two new models, namely the Sportback and the S. The first is the e-tron “coupe SUV”. This means less space inside the car. This is especially noticeable in the back seat and in the trunk. However, this also means you can drive longer on battery power. This Sportback is aerodynamically stronger than the regular e-tron. If that means anything to you, the Sportback has a Cw of 0,25 whereas the regular e-tron has a Cw of 0,27.

The Audi e-tron Sportback is now available in two variants. The Audi e-tron Sportback 50 quattro is the cheapest and costs 63.550 euros. To do this, you get a 71 kWh battery that powers two electric motors. This e-tron has a maximum output of 313 hp. and maximum torque of 540 Nm. It accelerates to 6,8 km / h in 100 seconds and has a top speed of 190 km / h. The Audi e-tron Sportback 50 has a WLTP range of 347 kilometers and can be quickly charged up to 120 kW. This means that eighty percent of the battery can be charged in half an hour.

More expensive brother - Audi e-tron Sportback 55 quattro. It has a large battery capacity of 95 kWh, which means that the range is also longer: 446 kilometers in accordance with the WLTP standard. The engines are also bigger, so this e-tron delivers a maximum of 360 hp. and 561 Nm on all four wheels. Thus, 6,6 km / h is reached in 200 seconds and the top speed is 150 km / h. With this 81.250 kW e-tron, fast charging is possible, which means that this large battery is also charged up to eighty percent in half an hour . This excellent e-tron is of course a bit more expensive and costs € XNUMX.

Audi e-tron S

Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

We relate to the Audi e-tron S after the Sportback, although the rules of the alphabet dictate that we do it the other way around. We currently know less about the S than about the Sportback, so we decided to swap it. What we do know: The S version will be more than just a body kit and a few S decals.

Take the electric motors. There are two of them in the standard Audi e-tron 55. Audi is transferring a large engine driving the rear axle to the front axle for the S version. This engine is rated at 204 horsepower (in supercharged mode). The S model gets two electric motors on the rear axle. One per rear wheel!

Together, these two rear engines deliver 267 horsepower or 359 horsepower in supercharged mode. They can also be controlled separately from each other, which contributes to better cornering. Basically, this e-tron S is rear-wheel drive. But if the driver pushes hard on the accelerator or if the grip level gets too low, the front engine kicks in.

The total power of the Audi e-tron S is 503 hp. and 973 Nm, provided that you are driving in supercharged mode. This allows you to accelerate to 100 km / h in 4,5 seconds and then accelerate to a limited maximum of 210 km / h. In normal D position power 435 h.p. and 880 Nm. The seven driving modes also affect the standard adaptive air suspension, which can adjust the vehicle's height by 76 mm. For example, when driving fast, the body is lowered by 26 mm.

It remains to be seen which battery the fast Audi will get, as well as the range and price. They should be available to order from May and will be available from the dealer later this summer. The Audi e-tron S is available in both crossover and Sportback coupe versions. By comparison, the Audi e-tron 55 quattro costs 78.850 95 euros and has a 401 kWh battery, which provides a 55 kilometer range. The Audi e-tron 81.250 Sportback costs 446 euros and can travel XNUMX kilometers with the same battery.

BMW iX3

Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

If the Germans launched the i3 quite early on, they disappointed with the introduction of their SUV. Mercedes and Audi are already on the road, competitors from other countries too. BMW should also be participating in this popular segment this year with the iX3. Let's start with what we don't know yet: prices and exact delivery times.

However, there are some important details that we are aware of. For starters, more interesting information: power. The iX3's single electric motor produces 286 hp. and 400 Nm. This transfers power to the rear wheels. Battery capacity 74 kWh. Note: this is full capacity. The lithium ion battery used in electric vehicles never uses its full capacity, you can read why this is so in our article on electric vehicle battery.

With such a battery, the WLTP radius should be reduced to "over" 440 kilometers. According to BMW, the energy consumption will be less than 20 kWh per 100 km. The IX3 will receive support for 150 kW fast chargers. This means that the car must be “fully charged” within half an hour.

BMW will build iX3 in China plant. This plant will start producing electric vehicles in 2020. The car is likely to arrive in the Netherlands this year, which is why this SUV is in this roundup.

DS 3 Crossback E-Tense

Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

Who would prefer a little more prize You want a PSA car, be sure to check out this DS 3 Crossback E-Tense. DS supplies the crossover with gasoline and diesel engines as well as an electric vehicle. This electric version is, of course, slightly more expensive than the combustion-engine DS 3, although the picture is somewhat distorted.

The cheapest DS 3 costs 30.590 34.090 and is called Chic. An electric motor alone is not possible in this version. Electric models are only available in higher versions where you need to count down at least 43.290 € for the petrol variant. The electric version costs XNUMX XNUMX euros again.

Thus, the electric DS costs more than nine thousand euros more. And what do you get for this? 50 kWh battery powering 136 hp engine. / 260 Nm. This gives the DS 3 E-Tense a WLTP range of 320 kilometers. Fast charging up to 80 percent is possible in thirty minutes via a 100 kW connection. With the battery 80 percent charged, you can drive 250 kilometers using WLTP. When you charge at home with an 11kW connection, it takes five hours to fully charge the battery.

You will see the above numbers again later in this article. The DS 3 is the more expensive sister model of the Opel Corsa-e and Peugeot e-208. I wonder how the electric DS 3 rides? Then read our driving test where Kasper was allowed to drive around Paris. The DS 3 Crossback E-Tense is expected in the second quarter of this year.

fiat 500e

Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

Proper capitalization can make a big difference. The Fiat 500E is the first electric 500 that Fiat has produced for several US states. The car manufacturer had to meet certain emission standards. It is to be hoped that Fiat did not sell many of them: they suffered significant losses on each car.

The Fiat 500e (lowercase!) is a completely different car and belongs to the electric vehicles of 2020. In appearance, this model still resembles the 500E, although the 500e is clearly a development of previous Italian hatchbacks. This small electric car is equipped with a 42 kWh battery, which provides a WLTP range of 320 kilometers. This battery can handle 85kW fast charging, which can take a car from "almost empty" to 85% in 25 minutes.

The battery powers the 119 hp electric motor. The couple have yet to name Fiat. With this engine, Fiat accelerates from 9 to 150 km / h in 38.900 seconds. Top speed 500 km / h. The electric Fiat can now be ordered for € XNUMX, deliveries will start in October. This is a special edition, presumably cheaper models are coming soon. However, Fiat has not officially announced this yet.

Ford Mustang Mach E.

Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

Ah, the Ford Mustang Mach-E is truly a car that divides motorists into two groups. Either you like it or you don't like it at all. And so far, no one has driven it yet. This is, of course, because of the name; Clearly, Ford wants to capitalize on the success of the primitive muscle car.

The electric SUV is available in different versions. You can choose the battery capacity – 75,7 kWh or 98,8 kWh – and whether you want all-wheel drive or just rear-wheel drive. The maximum WLTP radius is 600 kilometers. The best version is the Mustang GT. No, this is not a GT car like the Aston Martin DB11, but "simply" the best version of an SUV. You get 465 hp. and 830 Nm, which means the Mustang can hit 5 km/h in 100 seconds.

The Mustang battery will receive support for 150 kW fast charging, with which you can "charge" a maximum of 93 kilometers in ten minutes of charging time. You should be able to charge the Mustang Mach-E from 38 to 10 percent in 80 minutes, although it's unclear which battery pack we're talking about.

The cheapest Mach-e has a WLTP range of 450 kilometers and costs 49.925 euros. A 258 hp electric motor is installed on the rear axle. and 415 Nm. Acceleration to 2020 km / h should be done in eight seconds. The first deliveries to Holland will not begin until the fourth quarter of the year XNUMX.

honda-e

Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

If you want a cute electric car, the Honda e is a good contender. It just doesn’t feel like driving much, because the range of 220 kilometers is a little moderate. Especially when you look at the price of 34.500 euros. Honda itself says the e is of high quality and also comes with many options as standard. Think LED lighting, heated seats and camera mirrors.

Is there anything else to choose when ordering e? Yes, in addition to the pleasant color scheme, there is also motorization. The base version gets a 136 hp engine, but this can be increased to 154 hp. Torque up to 315 Nm. E can also be charged quickly, the battery should be 80 percent charged in about half an hour. Acceleration to 2020 km / h takes eight seconds, presumably with a more powerful engine. The Honda e is expected to arrive in September XNUMX.

Lexus UX300e

Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

This is Lexus' first electric vehicle. Not that it's visible from the outside. Usually, car manufacturers are trying to make their electric cars in 2020 look different from the internal combustion engine options. The main difference is the radiator grill, for example, Hyundai Kona. Lexus, like Audi, sees it differently. After all, the big grille belongs to Lexus – as it turns out – which is why they throw such a grille on an electric car.

But what do you get besides the big grille with this Lexus UX 300e? Let's start with the battery: it has a capacity of 54,3 kWh. It powers the 204 hp engine. The range is 300 to 400 kilometers. Yes, the difference is small. Lexus aims to travel more than 300 kilometers on the WLTP standard, and on the NEDC standard, a car can travel 400 kilometers.

The electric Lexus accelerates to 7,5 km / h in 160 seconds and has a top speed of 300 km / h.The UX 49.990e can now be ordered for € XNUMX XNUMX. You still have to wait a bit until you see the Lexus; It will only be on Dutch roads this summer.

Mazda MX-30

Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

Mazda makes with MX-30 A little exactly what Ford is doing with the Mustang Mach-E: reusing a popular name. After all, we know the Mazda and MX mix primarily from the Mazda MX-5. Yes, Mazda used the MX name for concept SUVs and the like before. But the car manufacturer has never marketed such a car with the MX name. So before this crossover.

Striking in the car range for the format. It's a crossover, after all, so you'd expect Mazda to be able to squeeze a decent amount of battery cells into it. However, this is a bit disappointing here. The battery capacity is 35,5 kWh, which means that the range is 200 kilometers under the WLTP protocol. Crossovers are always marketed as if they were for people with an active lifestyle. Therefore, it is a little ironic that the "adventure car" has a rather limited range.

For the rest of the characteristics: the electric motor has 143 hp. and 265 Nm. Fast charging up to 50 kW possible. It is not known how quickly the vehicle is fully charged. Like Honda, this Mazda comes with a host of standard features such as LED headlights, parking sensors, power front seats, and a rearview camera. The Mazda MX-30 can now be ordered for € 33.390, an electric Japanese should be at dealerships sometime this year.

Mini Cooper SE

Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

Stick with that range and MX-30 size for a while. Two hundred miles in a crossover How much can the Mini push out of the Cooper SE? one hundred and eighty? No, 232. Yes, this hatchback could go further than a Mazda crossover. And that's with a smaller battery because this Mini comes with a 32,6kWh battery. The electric motor is also sharper - 184 hp. and 270 Nm.

There is only one small negative: of these two cars, the electric Mini will be the most expensive in 2020. The British-German car is now on sale for 34.900 euros. In addition to a smaller machine, you will also have fewer doors for this. The Mini is “just” a three-door car.

This three-door car can accelerate to 7,3 km / h in 150 seconds and continues to top 50 km / h. Finally, the car can be quickly charged with a maximum power of 35 kW, which means the battery charges to 80 percent in 11 minutes. Charging with a 2,5 kW plug takes 80 hours to 3,5 percent and 100 hours to XNUMX percent. Want to know how the Mini Cooper SE drives? Then read our Electric Mini Driving Test.

Opel Corsa-e

Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

We'll stick with European electric hatchbacks for a while. The Opel Corsa-e arrived in the Netherlands in the first quarter of this year. This German is slightly cheaper than the British Mini, Opel is now selling for 30.499 50 euros. For that, you get a five-door hatchback with a 330 kWh battery. The battery is bigger than the Mini, so. Therefore, it is not surprising that the range is much greater: XNUMX kilometers using the WLTP protocol.

The electric Corsa, like its sister models DS 3 Crossback and Peugeot e-208, has a single electric motor that sends 136 hp to the front wheels. and 260 Nm. At the same time, Opel accelerates to 8,1 km / h in 100 seconds and can reach speeds of up to 150 km / h. The car can be quickly charged with a maximum power of 100 kW, after which the battery is charged to eighty percent within half an hour. The entry-level Corsa-e comes with a 7,4kW single-phase charger, with a 1kW three-phase charger costing an extra XNUMX euros.

Peugeot e-208

Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

Speaking alphabetically, we're a bit wrong here; actually e-2008 should be here. But in a nutshell, the e-208 is a Corsa-e with a different face, which is why we're looking at these two electric vehicles that will hit the market in 2020 together. Let's start with the price: the French are a little more expensive than the Corsa. The entry-level E-208 costs 34.900 euros.

And what do you get for this? Well, you could actually read a little about the Corsa-e and DS 3 Crossback. Because this five-door hatchback also gets a 50 kWh battery that powers the 136 hp electric motor. and 260 Nm of energy. Acceleration to 8,1 km / h takes 150 seconds and top speed is limited to 208 km / h. But let's not forget that the Peugeot 2020 is also the car of the year XNUMX.

We do see differences in range. The E-208 can travel at least ten kilometers further than the Corsa, and therefore has a range of 340 kilometers under the WLTP protocol. What is causing this? Think about a combination of aerodynamic differences and weight differences.

To recap, let's look at fast charging times: through a 100kW connection, the battery can be charged up to eighty percent in thirty minutes. Fully charging the battery with an 11 kW three-phase charger takes 208 hours and 5 minutes in e-15. The Peugeot e-208 will be available from March 2020. Curious about how an electric Peugeot works? Then read our driving test.

Peugeot e-2008

Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

As promised, here's a bigger Peugeot. The e-2008 is actually the e-208, but for those who like a little more and prefer a smaller range. The WLTP range of this crossover is 320 kilometers, twenty kilometers less than that of the French hatchback. The E-2008 can now be ordered for 40.930 euros and will be delivered "during 2020". Basically, the car is the same as two other electric vehicles that PSA will bring to market in 2020: the e-208 and the Corsa-e.

Polestar 2

Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

One notch more than the e-2008, the Polestar 2. This is the first all-electric Polestar. Production of this electric vehicle began in March and is expected to start driving on European roads in July. This fastback features a 78 kWh battery that transfers power to two motors on both axles. Yes, the Polestar 2 has four-wheel drive. North Star has a total of 408 hp. and 660 Nm.

The Polestar 2 can accelerate to 4,7 km / h in 100 seconds and has a top speed of 225 km / h. Volvo / Geely is targeting a WLTP range of about 450 kilometers and an energy consumption of about 202 Wh per kilometer. The price has already been fixed: 59.800 € 2. Charging details are not yet known, but the Polestar 150 will receive fast charging up to XNUMX kW.

Porsche Taycan

Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

This is of all electric vehicles that will be mass-produced in 2020. probably the most expensive. Although the price of the Audi e-tron S could come close. The cheapest Porsche Taycan costs €109.900 at the time of writing. And this Taycan is a typical Porsche; so there's a whole bunch of models ahead, which makes the overview nice and cluttered.

Three models of Porsche Taycans are currently available. You have 4S, Turbo and Turbo S. Starting prices range from €109.900 to €191.000. Again: The Taycan is a typical Porsche, so you can let those prices go up a lot if you get too carried away with the options list.

For starters, slip-ons. The 4S will get a 79,2kWh battery that powers two electric motors (one on each axle). A nice touch: the rear axle has a two-speed automatic transmission. An electric car with multiple forward gears is not often seen. The Taycan 4S has a system output of 530 hp. and 640 Nm. Acceleration to 4 km / h on the Taycan accelerates in 250 seconds, the maximum speed is 407 km / h. Perhaps the most important detail of an electric car is the range: the standard is 4 kilometers. In terms of fast charging, the simplest 225S can go up to 270 kW, although XNUMX kW is possible.

Current top model in range it's a Taycan Turbo S. It has a larger battery at 93,4 kWh and has a slightly longer range of 412 kilometers on WLTP. But of course you're buying a Turbo S. No, you chose it for its flawless performance. Like 761 hp, 1050 Nm, acceleration to hundreds in 2,8 seconds. If you keep your foot on the "accelerator", then in seven seconds you will reach 200 km / h. The maximum speed is also SOMETHING more, by 260 km / h.

And when you're done with a lot of flames, you'll want to recharge as well. This is possible in homes with a maximum power of 11 kW or with a fast charger with a maximum power of 270 kW. This payload is high, no other vehicle on sale today can match it. This has a downside: this fast charging technology is not available everywhere. But with this Porsche future proof... With this 270 kW connection, the Taycan can be charged from 5 to 80% in 22,5 minutes. But do you want to know what this top-end Taycan looks like in practice? Then read our driving test.

Renault Twingo Z.E

Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

From the big German who can eat many miles all day long to the little Frenchman who has a slightly smaller range. This Renault Twingo ZE has a 22 kWh battery with which the WLTP range is 180 kilometers. This gives this hatchback a fairly small range. This is problem? Renault itself has no complaints. The average Twingo driver only covers 25-30 kilometers per day.

In this case, a small battery can be an advantage. After all, battery cells are expensive to manufacture, so a smaller battery means a lower price. So Twingo ZE should be cheap, right? Well, we don't know yet. Renault hasn't announced pricing yet. The French car will hit the market at the end of 2020, so we'll find out more about this Renault later this year.

What we do know for sure: Renault uses the same things for motorization as in the ZOE. This Renault has an electric motor with 82 hp. and 160 Nm. Twingo ZE reaches 50 km / h in 4,2 seconds and has a top speed of 135 km / h. Twingo's top charging speed is “only” 22 kW. You must travel eighty kilometers in half an hour of charging.

Seat El Born

Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

See here the Seat version from Volkswagen ID.3. Or rather, look at a car here that will remind you of it. The photo you see above is a concept version of the Seat el-Born. This el-Born goes into production after the ID.3 and is based on this hatchback.

It's not clear what the differences will be, but we do know it will get a 62 kWh battery pack paired with a 204 hp electric motor. In this case, the car must travel 420 kilometers using the WLTP protocol, and the electric car will accelerate to 7,5 km / h in 100 seconds. The car is due for sale later this year, by which time we'll hear (and see) more about this Spanish electric vehicle.

Seat Mii Electric / Škoda CITIGOe iV / Volkswagen e-up!

Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

We looked at the Seat el-Born separately from the Volkswagen ID.3 because this Spaniard will have a few small differences from the German ID.3. Trio: Seat Mii Electric, Škoda CITIGOe iV and Volkswagen e-up! however, they are almost identical. Therefore, we treat these machines in one block.

The trio has a 36,8 kWh battery that powers an 83 hp electric motor. and 210 Nm. This allows the cars to accelerate to 12,2 km / h in 100 seconds and reach a top speed of 130 km / h. The maximum range is 260 kilometers under the WLTP protocol. Home charging comes with a maximum power of 7,2 kW, so those with four hours of battery life can fully charge the battery. Fast charging reaches 40 kW, which allows you to "fill" 240 kilometers of power reserve in an hour.

The cheapest of them was - oddly enough - e-up!. However, VAG stepped back from this. At the time of writing, the Seat Mii Electric sells for €23.400, the Škoda CITIGOe iV costs €23.290 and the Volkswagen e-up should cost €23.475. Thus, Škoda is the cheapest, followed by Seat and Volkswagen being the most expensive. And the universe came back into balance with it. Curious how these city rascals operate in practice? Then read our driving test.

Smart ForFour / Smart ForTwo / Smart ForTwo Cabrio

Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

We will also combine these three machines. Basically, Smart ForFour, ForTwo and ForTwo Cabrio are the same. They are equipped with an electric motor up to 82 HP. and 160 Nm, a maximum speed of 130 km / h and support for fast charging up to 22 kW and three-phase charging. The battery can be charged from 40 to 10 percent in 80 minutes using fast charging. The only thing we don't know is the battery size, which Smart, oddly enough, doesn't mention. But it won't be very big: these three cars have the lowest range of any electric vehicle to hit the market in 2020.

Of course, there are several differences between the models. After all, the ForFour is the heaviest of the bunch, thanks to the extra doors and longer wheelbase. As a result, the acceleration time to hundreds is 12,7 seconds, and the range is up to kilometers according to the WLTP protocol. This longer Smart costs 23.995 euros.

Oddly enough, the ForTwo – a smaller car than the ForFour – also costs €23.995. However, with ForTwo. You can SOMETHING the longer ride is perhaps why parent companies Daimler and Geely think the equal price is justified. This “something” cannot be italicized enough: the ForTwo has a range of up to 135 kilometers. So, another five kilometers. The time from zero to one hundred is 11,5 seconds.

Finally, the ForTwo convertible. It is more expensive and costs 26.995 € 11,8. The acceleration time is 100 seconds to 132 km / h. The range between the two-door and four-door vehicle is up to XNUMX kilometers. These Smart cars were redesigned last year and are available for the first time this year.

Tesla Model Y

Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

However, this model is a small exception. After all, we know about the Tesla Model Y not quite when he should arrive in the Netherlands. While traditional car manufacturers are sticking to a schedule and actually only putting it off, Tesla is more flexible. Will it be ready a few months earlier? Then you will get it a few months earlier, right?

For example, Tesla previously stated that the first American buyers would receive the car only in the second half of 2020. Nevertheless, deliveries began in March last year. According to Tesla, the Model Y will arrive in the Netherlands in early 2021. In other words: it's possible that the first Model Ys will be driving around the Netherlands this Christmas.

What do we Dutch people get? There are currently two flavors: Long Range and Performance. Let's start with the cheapest, Long Range. It has a 75 kWh battery that powers two motors. Thus, the Long Range will have four-wheel drive. It has a WLTP range of 505 kilometers, a top speed of 217 km / h and can accelerate from zero to 5,1 km / h in 64.000 seconds. The Long Range costs XNUMX euros.

For six thousand euros more - that means 70.000 thousand euros - you can get Performance. It comes standard with slightly different rims and a (very small) tailgate spoiler so all Tesla fans know you have a very fast Tesla. It can reach 241 km / h, although the acceleration time to hundreds is more impressive. It will end in 3,7 seconds. Cornering will also be a little more fun as this Tesla has a lower ride height.

Are there any disadvantages too? Yes, with Performance you can drive "only" 480 kilometers. Oddly enough, Tesla itself doesn't provide much information on the Model Y's charging times, except that you can charge 270 kilometers in 7,75 minutes on the Long Range. According to EV-Database, this version can be fully charged in 11 hours using a 250 kW charger. According to this site, fast charging is possible with a maximum power of XNUMX kW.

A cheaper Tesla Model Y will also be available, with production of this standard line expected in early 2022. Its mileage will be about 350 kilometers and the estimated price in Holland is 56.000 euros.

Volkswagen ID.3

Electric cars: all new electric cars for 2020

We have already discussed this electric Volkswagen earlier in this article. Volkswagen ID.3 is built on the same MEB platform as Seat el-Born. The machines are not identical. Volkswagen offers a choice of three battery packs. Options: 45 kWh, 58 kWh and 77 kWh, with which you can travel 330 km, 420 km and 550 km, respectively.

There are also mechanical differences. You can buy this Volkswagen with the same 204 hp engine. You also get this in 58 kWh and 77 kWh versions.
