Electric motorcycle Hera V8 from Curtiss Motorcycles - what a monster!
Curtiss Motorcycles began work on an electric motorcycle in honor of the 8 Curtiss V1907. The bike will be called the Hera V8, but this time the "V8" under the frame will mean a monstrous battery, not an internal combustion engine.
The original 8 Curtiss V1907 had a V8 engine that propelled the rear wheel through a shaft. At 4 liters, it offered just 40 horsepower at 1800 rpm. The frame was borrowed straight from the bike frame and the rider leaned over the engine:
The electric Hera V8 should be better than its predecessor. It is known to be powered by at least one electric motor, and "V8" stands for a giant battery located under the upper frame. Other technical details are not yet known, and the bike itself is in early stages of development.
