Elektron One: New Electric Sports Car

Soon a new player will appear in the international automotive market in the sports car segment - the manufacturer Elektron, which presented images of the Elektron One, his first work.

The Elektron One project is the work of Armayan Arabul, a Turkish electronics engineer who graduated from the British University of Bath and is a car and motorcycle fanatic based in Ankara and has worked in his family business since the beginning. In 2017, Armayan Arabul decided to speed up the process and leave his company to open Elektron Innovativ GmbH in Germany. The Elektron One project then ramps up to achieve the result presented here.

From a technical point of view, Elektron One, developed in collaboration with Imecar (an electronics company) based in Antalya, Turkey, will be available on a chassis with a monocoque made of carbon fiber and composite materials and will have a power of 1341 hp.

Armayan Arabul aims to compete with manufacturers such as Rimac and Pininfarina and is already planning to build its Turkish Heart sports car in Motor Valley, Italy. It is planned to assemble about 140 cars annually, but within three years the developer intends to increase this figure to 500 units per year. Ambitious production, in line with the selling price of the model.

The Elektron One, which is still at the prototype stage, should be officially unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2021, and may be followed by a version of Spider, as well as a version specially prepared for the track.
