Electric scooter: after Paris, Bolt settled in Madrid

Taking his first steps in Paris last September, the free-floating electric scooter specialist has touched down in the Spanish capital, where rental work will begin this week.

« The introduction of our electric scooters in Madrid was the answer to a double challenge. On the one hand, this new service offers a solution to reduce congestion in the center of the Spanish capital. On the other hand, it saves time and money for our users. " comments Markus Willig, CEO and co-founder of Bolt.

As in Paris, this e-scooter offer is combined with the VTC offer, all integrated into one mobile app. To use this service, all you have to do is scan the QR code on the equipment. The user will have to pay one euro at the time of booking, followed by 15 cents for every minute of use, i.e. 2,5 euros for a ten minute ride.

The rollout won't stop in Paris and Madrid, as Bolt already indicates it is discussing expanding its services to other European cities.
