If the electric scooter is still trying to break through among the professionals, the young startup U'Mob wants to conquer the market by offering turnkey rentals.

Today U'Mob offers two scooters, 50 and 125 cc. See specially adapted to the needs of professionals importing from Switzerland. Specifically, the S4 electric scooter, equivalent to 50 cc, is powered by a 3 kW brushless motor and announces 60 to 80 kilometers of autonomy, while the S5 can travel at speeds up to 65 km / h with autonomy and power similar to the S4. ... In both cases, machines can be selected in a double or service version with the addition of a kick drum at the rear for delivery applications.

Another practical aspect: the choice of electric scooters with removable batteries, which will be an alternative to charging times (4 to 6 hours) for longer trips.

Turnkey offer

From service to personalization, including initial support, U'Mob offers a turnkey offer with the ability to update its rental offer to provide professionals with easier access to the latest technological innovations.

“Once the product becomes more efficient or your needs change, you can replace the old generation with a product at the forefront of technological innovation,” the company's website explains.

From 144 € per month

In terms of prices, U'Mob's offer starts at 144 euros per month, including services.

“For professionals, the interest in electricity is obvious. Heavy use reduces equipment costs. There is real economic interest from the point of view of improving the company's image " explains Nicolas Surand, founder of U'mob, in an interview with the Rhône-Alpes newspaper Le Progrès.

In 2017, U'Mob plans to expand its rental offer by releasing packages to the general public.
