Electric scooter Zapp turned the head of Europeans

The new Zapp scooter, perfect for driving in the city center, is gradually being developed in Europe. Germany has just entered the list of eight countries in which this model is available. But the high price could chill a little ...

Design (and price) of the room

In 2018, the British brand Zapp spoke about its electric scooter for the first time. Lightweight, upscale, the i300 has gained popularity among city dwellers looking for agility and autonomy when traveling through densely populated areas. It is true that this e-bike has many qualities. Its futuristic and ultra-original design, its lightness, its peach shade. But you still have to spend at least € 8 (no options) to afford it.

Lightness and Power, but little autonomy

The Zapp i300 weighs 92kg when wet, i.e. with two 72V lithium-ion batteries. Its carbon fiber composite body promises to be “ durable, lightweight, aesthetic and durable "... And you just want to believe it: the two one-piece aluminum chassis elements are elegant and highly aerodynamic.

On the steering wheel, we represent agile driving at all ease! The brand claims that the i300 is capable of a top speed of 96 km / h. Of the three driving modes (Eco, Power and Zapp), the latter is unlocked only for motorcyclists (A2 license holders) and achieves 18 kW of power ... But only at short distances. Unfortunately, in ECO mode (maximum power is 4 kW), the i300 has a range of only 60 km. Thus, nothing justifies its price from this side.

You can order the Zapp i300 electric scooter on the brand's website, delivery time is from 12 to 16 weeks.
