Kymco Electric Scooters Coming Soon to the Market in France

The first Kymco electric scooters, unveiled at the end of 2018 at the Intermot in Cologne, are set to land in France, where marketing is expected in the next few weeks.

For the Taiwanese brand, New Like 110 EV and Nice 100 EV mark the start of an offensive in the all-electric segment, which should lead to the launch of 10 models over the next three years.

Based on the thermal models of the same name, the first electric scooters that Kymco is preparing to launch on the market touch two main segments. The Vespa-like New Like 110 EV electric scooter belongs to the 125 category (photo at the top of the article).

Mounted on 12-inch wheels, it is powered by a 3200 W electric motor delivering up to 124 Nm of torque. On the battery side, the scooter has two packages. The first is fixed and has a power of 525 Wh, while the second, removable, offers 650 Wh, or 1,175 kWh in total.

The Nice 100 EV, more for the city, is content with a small 1500 watt motor and 10-inch wheels. At this stage, its autonomy is not declared.

To discover EVER Monaco

Currently, limited to static exhibitions, two Kymco electric scooters will be offered for testing from 8 to 10 May at EVER Monaco, where the brand is one of the main sponsors.

An event that will provide an opportunity to get acquainted with the thrill of driving two cars, as well as, above all, get new details about their prices and their availability in France.
