Electric scooter Silence became a hit in Italy

The Silence S02 electric scooter of Catalan origin occupies a leading position in the Italian market, where it accounts for more than 25% of the segment's sales.

In Italy, the electric vehicle market has withstood the shockwave of Covid-19 quite well. More than 10 electric scooters and motorcycles have been registered in Italy over the past year, according to data provided by Ancma (National Association of Motorcycle Accessories). This is an impressive 000% increase over 84.

Silence rolls ahead

With 2 units sold, the Silence S760 takes the first place on the Italian market. The Catalan e-scooter, available in 02 and 50 cc versions, accounts for over 125% of all e-scooters and motorcycles sold on the market. It overtook the local brand Askoll, which took first place with the ES25 and ES1 models, respectively, registered in quantities of 3 and 1 units.

As far as Chinese brands are concerned, Nu has registered three models in the Top 10, while rival Super Soco settled for 8th with its new 50th electric C-UX. As for Piaggio, the arrival of the new 125 was not enough to boost sales of the electric Vespa. Having taken the 9th place, the model registered only 358 registrations in a year.
