Self-service e-bike: Zoov raises € 6 million

A young start-up specializing in self-service electric bikes, Zoov has just announced a fundraising of € 6 million to launch in several French metropolitan areas.

Founded in 2017, Zoov relies on an innovative approach to its solutions in relation to communities. Start-up requires stations that can be set in 45 minutes and an especially compact design allowing up to 20 electric bikes to be parked in a single parking space.

The first experiment at Saclay

For Zoov, this fundraiser will enable the first demo. Installed on the Saclay Plateau, about twenty kilometers south of Paris, it envisions the deployment of 13 stations and 200 electric bicycles throughout the year.

This first full-scale experiment, spanning five months, will allow Zoov to test and prove the viability of its system before expanding it to other French and European metropolitan areas.
