VanMoof e-bikes are expanding their range

Designed to meet the needs of the most demanding customers, the new Power Bank comes in the form of an extra battery. Detachable, it offers 45 to 100 km of extra autonomy.

The PowerBank offered by VanMoof weighs just 2,8 kg and is complemented by a fixed battery (504 Wh) built into the manufacturer's models. Removable, it has a power of 368 Wh and provides an additional range of 45 to 100 kilometers.

This add-on kit, which can be easily integrated into the base of the frame with a connector that allows it to be connected to the main battery, is offered on the manufacturer's website for 348 euros. The first deliveries are expected from the beginning of June.

More advanced versions of the VanMoof S3 and X3 bikes

Apart from this extra battery, the manufacturer is announcing a number of improvements for its two models.

Now compatible with Apple's Find My app, the VanMoof S3 and X3 have undergone a slight makeover. The program includes new pedals and mud flaps, improved wiring for internet connectivity and improved screen readability.

When it comes to packaging, those more environmentally conscious will be delighted to know that VanMoof's electric bike packaging contains 70% less plastic than previous versions. In addition, everything has been done to take up much less space than before.
