Battery. A relatively small "box" with invigorating power. Let's face it, no car will start without it. Usually we are aware of this in the winter when our battery does not obey. Then we are looking for a new car battery. It is worth choosing proven and Polish, for example, batteries from the Jenox Accumulators plant in Chodziez.
Chodziez is famous in Poland for his porcelain. However, few car owners know that one of the leading manufacturers of car batteries operates in this city of Wielkopolska. Hodziez uses energy
For more than two decades, Jenox Batteries has been using energy to put it into a car battery. The recent years have been particularly marked by the modernization of the plant and the introduction of new products into the offer. This is followed by a group of specialists.
The plant itself employs about 160 people, and the company plans intensive development in the coming years. Today, the Jenox Accumulators plant produces almost a million batteries a year. All of them are produced in Poland, and more than 50 percent of the produced batteries are used in vehicles on Polish roads.
The rest of the production is distributed to almost all European countries, as well as to other, often very exotic corners of the globe. Soon, battery production in Chodzierz could increase significantly.
– In August, we launched a new assembly line, where human labor will soon be replaced by robots. In addition, we are also launching a new expanded metal battery plate production line with automatic stacking and palletizing system. In addition, there is another operating lead oxide mill and new wafer curing chambers. These are just a few key investments, but they are milestones in the development of our plant and an announcement of an increase in the number of batteries produced,” says Marek Beysert, CEO of Jenox Accu.
Power tailored to your needs
Different cars have diametrically different energy requirements. In addition, a car battery has to solve many problems. Among them are deep discharge resistance and the ability to work in harsh field conditions, including when exposed to shocks that are not used by batteries.
For this reason, the battery manufacturer from Chodzierz has prepared a wide range of car batteries that provide energy for any road. All this to meet the expectations of demanding customers. Among the products there are both budget batteries of the Jenox Classic series, designed for a wide range of vehicles as standard.
For more demanding customers, there are Jenox Gold batteries with low self-discharge and extra starting power, recommended for vehicles equipped with multiple pantographs.
Outdoor enthusiasts have probably come across the Jenox Hobby. Due to its deep discharge resistance, this battery is ideal for yachts, powerboats, electric boats and campers.
In addition, the Jenox Accumulators offer includes automotive batteries designed for trucks and specialized vehicles. We are talking about Jenox SHD, which guarantees high energy efficiency and high starting current with low self-discharge. These types of batteries have found their application, including in trucks and buses.
The youngest in the family of products bearing the Jenox logo are the Jenox SVR batteries, which have been garnering numerous awards in recent years. These batteries are designed for special applications, resistant to vibrations and able to work reliably in the most adverse terrain conditions.
It is only worth adding that storage and SVR batteries are a huge success in sales, and Jenox Accu's share in this market segment is very large and steadily growing.
Research and development
Jenox Accumulators does not stop there, although in its history it has already won several of them. The research department is constantly working on new batteries. All this to adapt technological solutions to the changing automotive market and new customer needs.
“We are constantly researching new types of batteries, as well as expanding and modernizing our factory. In the near future, we intend to introduce two new product lines designed for trucks and cars,” says Marek Przystalowski, vice president and technical director of Jenox Accu. – Of course, without investment it would not be possible. In recent years, we have allocated several million zł for the development of the plant in Chodzierz. In the coming years, we intend to invest tens of millions more in the plant, which will lead, among other things, to further robotization and automation of production, the expansion of battery molding or a new line for the production of a battery plate with a grid using “stamping” technology. Of course, there is also the expansion of the warehouse and research base, he adds.
