EPS - Electronic Power Steering

Electronic power steering for responsiveness, precision and control while driving.

It has replaced power steering in small and midsize cars and is becoming the most commonly used solution for Segment A, B and C cars, as the system is able to provide sufficient assistance under moderate loads and can help with some precautions. the driver as in the power steering.

EPS has the following advantages over power steering:

  • reduced fuel consumption (the component requires less energy, in addition, it does not require the intervention of the car battery, being limited to what is produced by the engine)
  • compact is a completely small component located inside the cabin, so it is easy to replace
  • it does not have a pipe system and oils that flow inward
  • easy to calibrate
  • electrical component, this characteristic makes it easy to update and therefore discover new technologies in the future

It is an active safety system when integrated with other devices such as the ESP.
