eSkootr S1X: the electric scooter built for competition

Designed to compete in the first electric scooter world championship, the eSkootr S1X has little to do with the cars we are used to seeing on our streets. 

The success of EVs in the Formula E Grand Prix seems to have inspired new categories in motorsport. While the electric motorcycle already has its own championship, the electric scooter will soon have its own. Newly designed ESkootr Championship just introduced the S1X, an electric scooter with exceptional performance. 

Much more imposing than a classic scooter eSkootr S1X stands out for its fairings and futuristic look. Built for exceptional performance, the machine is mounted on 6.5-inch wheels and weighs at least 35 kg, twice the size of a conventional electric scooter. 

12 kW power

As far as the engine goes, the S1X has enough to burn bitumen. Equipped with two 6 kW electric motors built into each wheel, it develops up to 12 kW of power... That accelerate to 100 km / h maximum speed. 

Accordingly, the size the battery stores 1.33 kWh of energy consumption... At this level of power, the autonomy is not insane, but enough to keep 8-10 minutes on the track.

The eSkootr S1X electric scooter, reserved in the middle of the competition, will be called up to participate in a special championship. Consists of six rounds, ten teams of three pilots will compete in it. Now it remains to find the stables. They will have to spend 466 thousand euros to participate in the first season of the championship.
