This video shows how the Tesla Model 3 turns into a giant battle tank.

The Tesla Model 3 is one electric vehicle that has shown its versatility and performance on the road and even in competition, but now it's the protagonist of an extraordinary event. Youtubers The Real Life Guys decided to modify an electric car to turn it into a huge six-ton tank.

Beware, because some dreamy YouTubers have decided that they need to turn an ordinary Tesla Model 3 into a massive six-ton electric tank. The German creators of The Real Life Guys are known for some wacky creations like a bathtub submarine and an awesome off-road wheelchair, and the latest project was funded by Autohero, an online used car marketplace.

It took 4 weeks to turn a Model 3 into a tank

According to YouTube channel The Real Life Guys, the build took place over four weeks "day and night" with much of it focused on giant networks. The creators tested the first chain by towing it behind another vehicle and jumping on it while running on top of it. They then build a second chain and platform to lift the Model 3 into place and connect the tracks.

“The chains are very high,” says one of the builders in the video. “Connecting Tesla to them will not be easy.”

The GMC Sierra has been seen on tank tracks and even on the Nissan Altima, but never on the Tesla Model 3; This is new. However: if there's a way to make a Tesla cooler, it's 1.3-ton chains. Forget the ridiculous mode, because this type of build turns an ordinary electric car into an ubiquitous monster. With 31 inches of ground clearance, you can head out into the wild as long as there's a charging station somewhere within reach. However, chains will certainly greatly reduce range.

Unique car in the world

Most interestingly, they pranked his best friend Eric by packing the tank like his own so that when the car was shown at the end of the build, he was sure it was his Model 3.

Nothing is said about the total cost of this, but judging by the huge chains, 12 springs and all the fabrication, this project is not for the average person and is unlikely to become mainstream. Enjoy it in all its glory, because you may not see another one anytime soon.
