Equipped with revolutionary aerodynamics, the WMC250EV aims to break the record for the fastest electric motorcycle in the world.

British company White Motorcycle Concepts is entering an electric competition with the WMC250EV, a high-powered electric motorcycle with which it will soon attempt to break the world speed record.

To try and achieve the record, the White Motorcycle Concepts teams worked hard on the aerodynamics of their model. The pilot's position is original. Mounted at a standard height, it wraps around the “tunnel” separating it from the underside of the motorcycle. Nicknamed "V-Air", this air duct is believed to be able to reduce air resistance by up to 70% compared to conventional motorcycles.

The 8 batteries are located at the bottom under the center tunnel for an extremely low center of gravity.

As for the motor, the motorcycle has four motors, two for each wheel. The current prototype develops up to 100 kW or 135 horsepower. Performance that will be improved by 2022 when White Motorcycle Concepts makes their attempt in Bolivia. The motorcycle will be ridden by its designer Robert White, who already has several speed records.

• By setting a record of 250 mph or 402 km/h, the British company hopes to beat the record set by Max Biaggi. On Voxan Wattman, the latter managed to set a record of last year - 366,94 km / h.
