This new low-cost kit turns any bike into an electric bike.

Designed by an American designer to electrify a bicycle in seconds, this portable power tool is revolutionary.

« We know that electric bicycles are expensive and often stolen. What if you could just detach the e from the e-bike to get it home easily? “. This brilliant idea came from Som Ray, a design engineer who lives in Brooklyn and takes his bike to work every day. Tired of being sweaty after big climbs, he decides to switch to electric. Thinking electric bikes were too expensive, he imagined a case that could be attached to the front wheel of any bike to aid in pedaling, and which could just as easily be removed.

Practical, useful and inexpensive electrical kit: winning formula?

To transform your classic bike into an electric bike, simply attach the two ends of the box to the front fork tubes. The 450W electric motor then touches the tire and delivers up to 24 km / h. Two 36V (144Wh) batteries have 45 minutes of autonomy. 

Light as a laptop (3kg), Clip fits into a backpack and charges in 40 minutes at home or in the office. This ultra-practical item fits all city, road or hybrid bikes with 26" to 28" front wheels and costs just $399 (€327). Pre-orders are limited to the United States for now, but next on the list is the European market. Something tells us that we will hear a lot more about this.
