Fast 3: three-wheeled electric scooter for delivery of the last mile
The RAPIDE 3, unveiled this week on the occasion of the World Motorcycle Championship in Paris, is designed to deliver the “last mile”.
Developed by Taiwanese brand Gaius Auto, Rapide 3 is a solution to mobility challenges in urban centers. Fully electric, this three-wheeled scooter has a tilt system up to 100 °. With a large body, it provides a loading volume of up to 42 liters and a payload of up to 440 kg.
It belongs to the category of the equivalent of 125 cubic meters. See It is equipped with an 18.5 kW engine and allows a top speed of 95 km / h. The 5.2 kWh battery is located at the rear and provides up to 105 kilometers of autonomous work. Thanks to the DC standard, it can be charged up to 80% in just 15 minutes. In Europe, sales of the electric scooter from Gaius Auto have been announced for 2019. The advertised selling price is around 12.000 Euros.
