FCS - Front Camera System

Equipped their cars with a truly avant-garde security system, even compared to what much more noble houses and much more expensive products offer. This is a camera mounted on the front bumper that reads all impulses from the outside and processes them when driving errors can be corrected. Nothing revolutionary at first glance, given that aids such as Lane Assist are gaining more and more success in the most recent production.

But Opel went further. In fact, the system includes new driving assistance: the camera behaves like a real eye, is able to recognize road signs and warn the driver, for example, when there is a change in the speed limit or the beginning of a continuous lane and, therefore, the inability to overtake. The front camera system, entirely developed by Opel, clearly includes, in addition to TRS, Lane Departure Assist.
