Felo FW06: This new electric scooter with a cutting edge design is inspired by the Kymco F9

The Felo FW06, the latest addition to the Chinese manufacturer's lineup, uses the same technical backbone as the Kymco F9. Available in two battery configurations, it provides up to 140 km of autonomy.

Unveiled at the end of 2019 at EICMA, the new electric scooter from China's Felo arrives in its final version. Very close to the Kymco F9 introduced at the end of 2020, the new FW06 also uses the same technical backbone. A partnership that makes sense as the two manufacturers recently said they want to work on common battery standards.

Like the Kymco F9, it gets a two-speed gearbox. The former improves agility in the city, while the latter improves performance at high speeds. The machine is listed in the equivalent category 125. The motor built into the rear wheel runs on 96 volts. It displays 6 kW of nominal power and accumulates 10 kW at peak. It should resume the same performance as the F9, top speed of 110 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 50 km/h in three seconds.

The bike part is also identical to the Kymco model. Thus, we find an aluminum alloy frame, telescopic fork, rear shock absorber, 14-inch wheels and a digital instrument cluster with a TFT screen.

Two battery configurations

GL and DX ... Felo offers its new electric scooter with two battery options. Configured at 80 Ah, the former provides 110 km of autonomous operation, while the latter, at 88 Ah, rises to 140 km with a charge.

For now, Felo FW06 is reserved for the Chinese market only. The price for the entry-level version starts from 3 euros, and for the long-range version it goes up to 400 euros. These are clearly Chinese prices, which we usually never match. At this stage, the date of its entry into the European market is not specified.
