The phenomenon of the game "Black stories", that is, fascinating cases of terrible deaths
If you enjoy playing detective, Black Tales, with nearly thirty versions, will provide you with dozens of hours of great fun. But what is it and why are Black Stories so popular?

Each box of Black Stories looks the same: small, rectangular, usually black, with a deck of fairly large cards inside. The rules of all editions are identical, which means that when we get acquainted with one version, we can “start” each new one immediately after removing the foil from the box. What makes Black Stories such a tabletop (and card) phenomenon that each subsequent edition disappears from store shelves immediately after the premiere? Let's check it out!
Game Rules Black Stories
In addition to a fifty-card deck, most Black Stories editions also include a manual in the box that explains the rules of the game in an accessible way. On the front of each card is a characteristic line drawing, the title of the story, and a summary of its sad ending. On the back of the card is a detailed description of the event, which players must guess by asking the appropriate questions.
Black stories are not board game for adults only. You can play together, there is no upper limit. This is determined only by our common sense, although you can safely imagine the game even in a school class or on a bus traveling on a trip.
One person pulls out a card and reads the text on the front of the card aloud. Then quietly gets acquainted with the exact description of black history on the back of the card. All other players can now ask yes or no questions. For example, "Did the victim know the perpetrator before the murder?"
If someone believes that he already has enough information, he can try to guess how the tragic ending happened. If players get stuck, the temporary "owner" of the map can give them little clues. And that's all, we are trying to guess how various dark events, deaths, disappearances and other atrocities took place. The fun lasts as long as the company is tempted to guess. It's simple, isn't it?
Thirteen parts of creepy and that's not all
There are thirteen base versions of Black Tales, each containing another fifty cards (yes, that means that by purchasing only the base versions of the game, we can collect a mind-boggling six hundred and fifty cards). However, if this is not enough for you, the publisher has taken care of thematic versions. And so we can face the killer snowmen in Black Stories: Christmas, dedicate ourselves to Black Stories: Sex and Crime, or take a look behind the scenes at Black Stories: University. If we dream of long-distance travel, we should reach out for Black Tales: Strange World, and if we miss the holiday we were waiting for during the pandemic, we will definitely play Black Tales: Deadly Vacation. For those who are tired of the "home office", I suggest playing "Black Stories: Office" - you will quickly recover from longing for your favorite office coffee machine. Another interesting version is "Black Stories: Ghost Music", from which we will find out what kind of nightmare you can arrange for yourself with a saxophone. My favorite options, however, are Black Tales: A Stupid Death and Black Stories: A Stupid Death 2 inspired by the hilarious Darwin Awards. These are stories about how you can very thoughtlessly exclude your genes from the general pool of humanity - for which the latter, probably, should be grateful to him.
Various black stories
Not all boxes are black. In general and in the case of the described series. There is one that hides a slightly different version of the name. We are talking about "White Stories", which contains stories about various ghosts and ghouls - this is my favorite hiking position. Kids always react in the same way: at first with laughter and disbelief, then they begin to get involved in an action-packed guess, and when it comes time to go to the tents, they swallow nervously and jump at every rustle. I recommend!
"Black Stories: Superheroes" is a godsend for fans of bold characters in capes: they do not tell about real events, but stories from the world of superheroes and superheroes. Nice entertainment, but it should be clearly emphasized that mainly for those players who know who Batman or Thanos are.
Black Stories: Investigation is a completely different game, or better to say: based on different rules. Here, the players are members of an investigation team that must solve a monstrous puzzle, but for each question asked, we lose points. So infer what happened by asking as few questions as possible!
