Fiat Strada is a more personal delivery truck

Fiat has upgraded the Strada by slightly changing the styling of this car and, above all, by adding, among other things, an Adventure version and a two-seater four-seater cab.

Pickup trucks were not popular in Poland, and the tax regulation in our market has led to the fact that in recent years, mainly expensive five-seater versions with all-wheel drive and versions with higher equipment have appeared on our roads. One of the few cheaper cars designed for work is the Fiat Strada. This year, the Strada has received a bit of a makeover.

Efforts were made during the upgrade to bring the Strada's styling closer to its more powerful off-road counterparts. The front bumper has become more massive, and two large air intakes in the radiator grille are united by a common contour, similar to the Singleframe used by Audi. The shape of the headlights is also new.

Interior changes included the instrument panel with new, more readable gauges, as well as upholstery on the seats and door panels. The car is offered in three trim levels - Work, Trekking and Adventure.

The Strada is available in three two-door body styles: single cab, long cab and double cab. The latest version is a novelty that allows you to transport a team of four people with the necessary tools and materials. The width of the cargo area is 130 cm, and its length for versions with a separate cabin is 168,5 cm, 133,2 cm and 108,2 cm, respectively. The distance between the wheel arches for each version is 107 cm. The volume of the cargo compartment can be from 580 liters to 110 liters, and the load capacity is from 630 kg to 706 kg. The permissible gross weight of the updated Strada is 1915 kg, and the maximum towed weight of the trailer is 1 ton.

The Strada doesn't have 4WD, but an Adventure version that has some off-road, or at least off-road, traits. The plastic wheel arches have been enlarged, side skirts, lower door and fender covers, as well as distinctive front bumpers with a black grille, chrome moldings and dual halogen headlights have been added.

Fiat has done some tweaking of the drivetrain to match the Adventure version's combat look and added an E-Locker electronic differential lock to the car, which puts all the torque on the wheel with better traction. There is no chance to replace the 4×4 drive, but when driving on slippery surfaces, it avoids some traction problems. The mechanism can be turned off with a button on the center console, which avoids increased fuel consumption. Speaking of the console, the Adventure version has three extra clocks - a compass and pitch and roll indicators. Adventure is the Strada's highest level of equipment and is already standard. manual air conditioner.

The Strada is only available with one engine version. A turbodiesel 1,3 Multijet 16V with a power of 95 hp was chosen. and a maximum torque of 200 Nm. In the Work and Trekking versions, the car can reach a top speed of 163 km/h, and it takes 100 seconds to reach 12,8 km/h. A small engine allows you to be content with low fuel consumption - an average of 6,5 liters in city traffic, and 5,2 l / 100 km in the combined cycle. The Adventure version has slightly worse parameters - its maximum speed is 159 km / h, acceleration - 13,2 seconds, and fuel consumption in the city - 6,6 liters, and in the combined cycle - 5,3 l / 100 km.

The Strada net price starts at PLN 47 for the short cab working version and ends with the double cab Adventure version at PLN 900. At the very least, these are price list items, because you can choose from additional equipment, including, among others, an MP59 radio, manual air conditioning, or a leather steering wheel in the Adventure version.
