Fisker shared a sneak peek at the new Ronin Electric GT Car with a range of over 500 miles.

Fisker continues to take decisive steps in electric vehicles, first with the Fisker Ocean, then the Fisker Pear, and now the new Fisker Ronin. The latter will be a sports car with a range of 550 miles and a maddening design.

Henrik Fisker is a busy guy. You probably know him best as the man behind Fisker Karma and perhaps also as the man who designed the BMW Z8 and Aston Martin DB9. You'll soon know him as the guy whose name is printed on the back of the next electric SUV, and now he's made his Instagram debut with his next tech horror, the Fisker Ronin.

The Ronin will have a range of over 500 miles.

Ronin debuts as a designer render with some figures announced. The electric car maker is aiming for a range of more than 550 miles and a price tag of around $200,000. It also plans to provide the Ronin with a structural battery pack, something like the one Tesla has been working on as part of its battery development program.

Similarity to Fisker Karma

The teaser image shared by Fisker doesn't give us much more comment other than it looks like a screenshot of a Need For Speed game from the PS1 era. The proportions we see are clearly reminiscent of the Karma, with an exaggeratedly long bonnet and bubble-like passenger compartment. Other than that, it's a mystery.

Fisker to show Ronin prototype in 2023

Fisker says it will show off a prototype car in August 2023, so as long as Fisker stays in business longer (although he doesn't have a great track record), we're looking forward to it, probably at Car Week in Monterey.
